As a content creator, Iโ€™ve come to understand one thing: ๐˜ ๐˜ข๐˜ฎ ๐˜ฎ๐˜บ ๐˜ง๐˜ช๐˜ณ๐˜ด๐˜ต ๐˜ˆ๐˜ถ๐˜ฅ๐˜ช๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ค๐˜ฆ!

โ€ŽYou see, just like an artist who admires his own artwork before anyone else even sees it and hit the gallery, not out of pride, but because he poured his soul into it. I believe in showing myself love by reacting to my post first, because I created that post first for "me" before anyone else. I saw the vision first, and I felt the message first. I create content for you, but first, I create for me. And if I donโ€™t believe in what I made, why should you?

โ€ŽOne of the most valuable lessons Iโ€™ve learned as a growing Content Creator is that when I scrolled through most pages of seasoned, verified creators (especially fellow creatives and artists), I noticed a pattern, they like their own content every single time. That was a mindset shift for me. They werenโ€™t just creating to impress others, they were creating from a place of purpose, passion, and belief in what they offered which I found powerful.

โ€ŽUnfortunately, many upcoming Creators hesitate to like their own posts because it feels awkward...like youโ€™re the only one supporting yourself and as though it screams, "๐˜•๐˜ฐ ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ฆ๐˜ญ๐˜ด๐˜ฆ ๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ฌ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ช๐˜ต, ๐˜ด๐˜ฐ ๐˜ ๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ท๐˜ฆ ๐˜ต๐˜ฐ!"

โ€ŽBut letโ€™s flip that thinking. And โ€Žhere is why reacting to your own post does more good than harm to your post:
๐ŸŸ According to Daniela Queiroz, (an Instagram marketing coach), the algorithm actually notices when you engage first and this automatically signals that your post is worth pushing out.
๐ŸŸ It builds trust: When I see a post liked by the creator, it sends a quiet message to me that the creator ๐˜ฃ๐˜ฆ๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ฆ๐˜ท๐˜ฆs ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ ๐˜ธ๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ต he/she has ๐˜ด๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฅ. And that makes me more inclined to trust and likely to engage too
โ€Ž๐ŸŸ Liking your post isnโ€™t desperation, itโ€™s confidence and confidence is contagious.

So, it's not just the likes (although, yes, they can be sweet). โ€ŽBut as a content creator, your priority should be to dish out Value, Truth, and Authenticity. When you do that consistently, oh, the likes, followers, views...watch them come naturally.

Now tell me, do you like your own posts too? Letโ€™s talk.๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป
